Edith Stein's phenomenology of intersubjectivity

Edith Stein does phenomenology - the LOOK! - not in the world of physical objects (Husserl), not even in the world of meaning (Heidegger), but in the world of persons, of intersubjectivity. That is the point of her doctoral thesis on Empathy.

What kind of difference does that make? Does she go beyond Heidegger's Mitsein? Does the world of persons open up more easily to the Person/s?
